 influence of social media exposes students of all ages to misleading narra
 tives about food and nutrition\, often accompanied by unsupported health c
 laims. These narratives can detrimentally shape short-term and long-term p
 erspectives on eating habits\, food ingredients\, and overall well-being e
 specially in the younger generations. \n\n\nWelcome to the Food Truth Pro
 ject - a collaborative workshop given by prospective food scientists in ef
 fort to identify\, debunk\, and clarify misinformation surrounding food an
 d nutrition. Our interactive workshops are designed to equip students with
  vital critical thinking skills for navigating the digital landscape\, par
 ticularly when it comes to food and health-related information. We will ex
 plore topics such as nutritional labeling\, fad diets\, the distinction be
 tween artificial and natural foods\, and the scrutiny of food additives. U
 ltimately\, we aim to empower students to discern and evaluate the informa
